Boardsapiens is about Windsurfing & Kitesurfing in Malaysia.

We are formerly known as Balok Wind Junkies. As the name ‘Balok’ implies, the contents was initially revolved around a beloved beach among us the Malaysian windsurfers & kitesurfers and so many others, the Balok Beach in Kuantan. That said, as the blog grows, the subjects were no longer entirely limited to revolve around Balok, thus brought us here, the BoardSapiens.

With greater & wider perspective, Boardsapiens also aims to cover all other major board-riding sports in Malaysia such as surfing, wakeboarding. skateboarding, landboarding. It is in our common knowledge that these sports received inadequate coverage both on the web and media in Malaysia. One of the reckoned possible cause is the lack of any platform for the boardriding-sport-lovers to discuss about their sports, and also for beginners to ask questions. With this in mind, the BoardSapiens FORUM was born.

It is in our greatest hope that the BoardSapiens will continue to flourish, creating a constantly growing & active community of Malaysian Board Riders!
