Every now and then, I would stumble upon a few websites closely related to windsurfing & kitesurfing in Malaysia. Let’s have a closer look at a few of them..
Disclaimer : All commentaries are of my personal opinion so it may or may not be the most accurate description of the content of each website. Take it with a pinch of salt, and check it out yourself you lazy bum!
If you have more to add on this list, please do let me know by using the comment section below. Thanks!
1. WindsurfingKL Everything you need to know about windsurfing in Kuala Lumpur, and more!
2. Ballz Action A company based in Kuala Lumpur. They offer windsurfing & kitesurfing lessons along with a lot of other things like wakeboarding, sphereing, etc . Nice looking website with professional & objective presentation, but some products are outdated (another reason why I’d rather purchase my gear from Singapore).
3. Mewannakite A friend of a friend who once shared a few fond memories in Balok in his journey to become a kiteboarder. The author is currently residing in wind-blessed country Australia. Since he is now a successful kiteboarder, and probably busy with works, the site is now left without any update since August 2008.
4. Kiteboarding Malaysia Your only source for straight-to-the-point kiteboarding lesson in Malaysia. Pay and play. In terms of coaching, equipment and condition, there is literally no match for any other kitesurfing school in Malaysia.
5. Taykhai Our friend Andy. An obsessed kiteboarder with more story to tell in person than on his personal blog. He also enjoy traveling and seeking adventures every so often, and have his very own website which he dedicated for people like him called the MyTravelKaki, so check him out.
6. Wind-X Malaysia very own kite manufacturer. Some impressive products which specifically chosen & designed to suit the condition in Malaysia. My personal favorite is the Koi Board.
